Country Chicken Girl emails Dan the Man

Dan the Man and I have been busy working on our website for the ranch.

Neither one of us are very educated on website design and half the time we don't know what we are doing.

I sit in the driver's seat at the computer while Dan the Man sits right next to me in the passenger's seat. I won't let him touch the keyboard or the mouse so he has to sit there and tell me what to type and what to click on.

He is a great back seat driver when it comes to what I should be typing, inserting, hyperlinking, html'ing and other stuff that I don't even know is let alone what it is called.

Most of our design is all done on trial and error.

Dan the Man tells me what to do, I tell him that won't work, he tells me to do it anyway, I do it and it doesn't work.

I get mad and we start all over again!

I've learned to save frequently!

Things would be easier if one of us knew what we were doing.

We inserted an "email reply form" on our contact page.

I decided to try it out.

I'm sitting here on the couch with my laptop while Dan the Man is sitting in the kitchen at the computer.

I send a email to Open A Bar 2 Ranch which goes directly to Dan the Man's email.

It reads:

From: CountryChickenGirl
Subject: Important Message to Dan the Man
Message:

Just wanted to tell you that I love you!

Do you love me?

Your loving wife and partner,
CountryChickenGirl

I just got a reply back from dan@openabar2ranch.com.

It reads:

My love for you is deeper than the chicken litter on the floor of the chicken coop.
Your Man, Dan

What a romantic!

  1. Too funny! Danny used to be such a romantic! What happened??? I can't even imagine trying to design a web page with Bob! He just got done announcing he was going to throw his computer in the trash because he couldn't get a bank statement to look right so he could email it to Micah to print on the printer instead of installing the printer on his computer!

  2. When we met at church, I had know idea we were in the presence of such passionate depths! Dan's lovin' message could be construed, "chicken coop, chicken poop! let it go and kiss me!"
